Twinkletoes Preschool provides a safe, happy and stimulating educational environment where children are valued as unique individuals, supported by caring, experienced and qualified practitioners.
Learning through play and interaction in a place where they have empowerment over their environment, we promote an atmosphere of mutual respect and encouragement where children are prepared for their next steps in learning, so that they are happy, confident, creative, sociable and enthusiastic learners, who look forward to challenges.
A strong partnership between home and preschool is created, liaising closely with parents, other professionals and linking with our community.
Twinkletoes preschool offers half day and full day sessions as well as 30hr free funding.
Twinkletoes preschool is a new venture for all the staff. It has taken a long time to achieve and finally all the stars aligned for it to begin.
Each of us have different backgrounds within the childcare sector but we all share the same passion and drive, which is to make this preschool a roaring success.
Our daily structure will incorporate - learn, educate and play with our dedicated qualified teachers and other childcare professionals with enriching indoor and outdoor play experiences.
We understand that these first experiences within a preschool setting will have a forever lasting impact on their future learning and lives.
Everyday our aim is that the children leave Twinkletoes and look forward to their next session with us.
• Ensure that the welfare of each individual child in our care is paramount and forms the basis of our practice
• Promote the way in which children learn through play and first hand experiences and arrange the setting environment to meet this end
• Enable children to develop confidence, self esteem and resilience
• Plan for and develop the individual needs of each child in our care via the key person system and careful adult support and facilitation
• All act as positive role models for the children in our care
• Act in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage Principles and Commitments
• Always recognise that parents and carers are the first and most enduring educators of their child
• Create a warm, welcoming and safe environment for all individuals who use our setting
• Ensure that all individuals, children and adults alike, can enjoy the setting environment without judgment or discrimination from others
• Accommodate the individual needs of all who access our setting, irrespective of ethnic heritage, social and economic background, gender, sexual orientation, ability or disability.
• Listen to the views of all who use our setting; children, parents, employees and other professionals
• Continually reflect upon practice, as a setting and as individuals to ensure continual improvement of provision
• At all times comply with relevant National and Local legislation and guidance

It has taken 6 years of tears, laughter, hard-work and time away from my family to build Twinkletoes. This has been something I have wanted to do for many years, then finally all the stars aligned and my dream came true. My passion is to facilitate the development of children. To enable them to grow into individual human beings and what better way of doing it than in an environment where they are safe, secure and happy. Once completing my degree in childcare I knew the route I wanted to go down and that is to allow children to have the freedom to learn at their own pace whilst having amazing opportunities to experience in all different parts of life. I very much believe in outdoor learning, so a lot of our practice is to explore the outdoors. I am very fortunate to have a team that believes in the same philosophy.

Our vision is clear and I know the importance of my role in our children’s lives.
Since beginning this journey with Toni in April 2018 my drive, ambition and enthusiasm for our preschool has continued to grow. I think about our setting constantly, everywhere I go I am looking for interesting resources and items that I can adapt and use at the preschool. I never switch off, not because I can’t- but because I care so much! I care about our preschool, the parents, the setting, the staff and most importantly the children! I want to give the children every possible opportunity to grow, progress, develop and succeed. I want to provide every child with the resilience, independence and skills to path their way for a happy future in their education.
I believe that a preschools role is so underrated, Twinkletoes Preschool is so many children’s first experiences away from their families and it is our job to make it a fun, enjoyable and positive experience. I want children to feel happy and confident when they walk through the doors each morning and proud and content when they leave!
I really value my role at Twinkletoes and ensure that I am not only here for the children, but also for their parents and families. I want to support parents and help them in providing their children with the best possible start. I take so much pride in my job and value it’s importance.
Every day is different and every day is a challenge, but every day also offers so many rewards and special moments with each and every one of our children.
To say that ‘I love my job’ is a slight understatement! I can proudly say that Twinkletoes Preschool has provided each of our families with so many new and happy memories.

I have now worked at Twinkle toes for nearly 2 years, I love my workplace and colleagues. The children are amazing and I always look forward to going to work. I am now level 3 qualified in early years.

I’m really looking forward to working with the Twinkletoes family and watching the children grow.

I am a qualified level 2 childcare practitioner. I have previously work in dance and drama schools offering summer camps for children between the ages of 4 to 10. I then had a successful home beauty and massage business for 6 years but after having my daughter in 2015 I realised that childcare was what I was good at and enjoyed the most. I decided to finally finish my cache level 2 childcare qualification and since then I have joined the Twinkletoes family. Since joining the twinkletoes family I have not only furthered my knowledge and training but I have grown to absolutely love every one at twinkletoes including all of our staff and children. Our children are fun, happy, and energetic little people who I have grown to care for each and every one of them. I can’t wait to make lots more happy memories with our amazing little people at our preschool. I also hope to complete my level 3 cache early years educator award to further my knowledge and skills in the childcare industry.

I am a mum of two boys who are now in primary school, whilst being a full time mum, I realised what I wanted to do as a career. My passion in life is making sure my children are happy and healthy and get as much out of life as possible and enjoy new experiences. At twinkletoes I have experienced children reach their goals and learn new things. Every day they make me so proud to work with and it’s an amazing feeling seeing them thrive in their setting. I am looking forward to my future working at twinkletoes, furthering my knowledge, gaining my qualifications and making amazing memories.

I gained my level 2 childcare qualification while working at a nursery which enabled me to gain hands on experience while studying. Working with children and seeing them develop is such a satisfaction and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
Now that I have joined the Twinkletoes family I know that I have made the right choice to have a career in childcare. The children are energetic, polite and fun to be around. I have already made so many memories with them and I can’t wait to make more.
My career started in Retail Banking where I worked in various roles for over 14 years. After having my daughter, who is now 5, I saw the importance of Early Years Education and decided to learn more.

I am now a qualified Cache Level 3 Early Years Educator. The early years of childhood learning is so important for later life skills and development. It fascinates me just how much young children can learn in the correct environment and with great role models.
I am so pleased to have joined the team at Twinkletoes and can not wait to contribute to the development of the children and have lots of fun.
